Part of the Dong Giang Heaven's Gate ecotourism complex, the cable car system — over 1.6 km long — was the first of its kind in the former Quảng Nam province.
Rising from 400 to 800 meters above sea level, the cable car offers visitors a completely fresh perspective on the surrounding mountains and forest. The system includes 2 stations, 7 towers, and 19 cabins in phase 1, serving over 1,000 passengers per hour. The equipment was supplied and engineered by Doppelmayr Garaventa (Austria), meeting international safety and quality standards. The ride takes just 7 minutes, saving visitors the long trek through the forest that was once the only way up.
With its cool climate year-round, effortless ride, and sweeping views, the 800-meter point is the best spot in Dong Giang Heaven's Gate for cloud-watching and scenic panoramas.
