The Ngân River — also known as the Milky Way Strip — divides two banks named Lạc Long Quân and Âu Cơ, connected by a system of bridges, each one carrying its own sacred meaning and story.
Rainbow Bridge is the first of the bridges, a symbol of hope for favorable weather, bountiful harvests, and peace in all things — a place where magical light forms a colorful band stretched across the sky. It's said that standing on Rainbow Bridge brings blessings and good fortune.
Next comes Magpie Bridge, connecting the two banks of the Ngân River in reference to the separated love story of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl. Each year, on the 7th day of the 7th lunar month (Thất Tịch), a flock of magpies is said to form a bridge between the two banks, reuniting the couple after months apart. The bridge has become a symbol of eternal love, faithfulness, and reunion.
Kiều Bridge carries deep Vietnamese cultural meaning, echoing the old folk verse: "To cross over, build Kiều Bridge; to raise a learned child, love and honor the teacher." Inspired by this image, Kiều Bridge stands as a tribute to learning, honoring Vietnam's tradition of respect for education and reverence for teachers — spiritual values that endure in Vietnamese hearts.
Fairy Waterfall Bridge spans Thác Tiên (Fairy Waterfall), the very first of the 25 waterfalls that earned the site's official record as the ecotourism destination with the most natural waterfalls in Vietnam. Every April, thousands of Aposo flowers bloom bright red, blanketing the area.
A little further up from Thác Tiên, crossing Bird's Wing Bridge, the shimmering, otherworldly Dragon's Egg Waterfall comes into view. Decorative scenes spread across more than 1,000 m² give visitors plenty of room to fully explore this, the most beautiful waterfall in the system, along with photo spots unlike any other in the destination.
